Since 2005 the company Accurate Instruments (NZ) Ltd. supplies the New Zealand market with machines and measuring instruments from Trotec. During the past years the product range has continually been enlarged and instead of 8 Trotec products in 2006 Accurate Instruments now provides 110 different products. Mark Gemmell is the national sales and marketing manager. In our Trotec interview he told us how the business relationship grew over the years and what changed in the market on the other side of the world.

Mark, would you please tell us some facts about Accurate Instruments (NZ) Ltd. and its history? When was the company founded, what changed since then and when/how did you start the business relationship with Trotec?
Accurate Instruments (NZ) Ltd was founded in Auckland in 1994 as an instrument supplier and calibration/repair centre, servicing the surveying and construction industry. Over the years, the company has expanded its portfolio of products and aligned itself with several world renown high quality instrument manufacturers and suppliers. Read More

TEH heavy-duty electric heating units from our own production

As of now Trotec produces its mobile electric heating units in its own production in Heinsberg. Compared with the last one many details of the model range 2014 have been improved what makes it more robust and more reliable. Therefore, the high performance devices of the TEH series are “100 % Trotec made in Germany” and guarantee quality, robustness and durability.

That means that we not only develop the TEH heating units in our R&D department to produce them ourselves but also put them to the acid. Only then we can give you a quality guarantee.
The devices, manufactured in our tried and tested German industrial design belong to the worldwide most powerful mobile electric heater series. With a heating performance of 120 kW and an air flow rate of 9,000 m³/h at 600 Pa air pressure the TEH 400 is the biggest heater of the series.
According to demand you also can use the TEH 300 with 80 kW and the TEH 200 with 40 kW wherever you need more heating power. Fields of application are major events, military facilities like huge workshops for air planes or shipyards and shipping companies. Read More

Dehumidifier TTK 105 S – Made in Germany and 100 % Trotec

Our new dehumidifier TTK 105 S has the seal of approval “Made by Trotec”. The small power pack with a dehumidifying performance of up to 30 litres per day is now available and comes directly from our production in Heinsberg to your home.

Exclusively available only at Trotec and produced in Germany our new dehumidifier TTK 105 S keeps dry rooms with a size of ca. 90 m². No matter if used in a garage, a hobby workshop, for keeping dry laundry rooms or cellars, to protect the inventory in libraries and archives or to increase the operational safety in computer and server rooms. French State Railway Company works with tents from Trotec

During track work safety is extremely important. Often welding work has to be done where temperatures up to 2,400 °C can arise. The Société nationale des chemins de fer français, the French State Railway Company ordered work tents from Trotec for the first time – and invests in the safety of the employees.

Rail passengers want to get from A to B relaxed; not only in this country but in France as well. Thus, the State Railway Company SNCF always tries to avoid delays and cancellations. Among other things regular maintenance work and repairs on the rails are necessary for which certain safety regulations have to be met. Read More

The new dehumidifiers of the TTK S series model year 2013 are the cost-effective alternative for high requirements in a rough everyday practice. The metal housing covered in synthetic material is robust and durable. “On the one hand we wanted to offer a cheap price and on the other hand we, of course, wanted to produce a high-quality dehumidifier”, Rainer Rausch, member of the Trotec management, remembers. “Nevertheless it is not made in China.
