When using the MasterCard® SecureCode™ you have to authenticate yourself additional to entering the usual data like card number, security code and the due date of your MasterCard. In that case our online shop automatically sends a request to your bank during your payment process and an input window pops up. There you have to type in the SecureCode that only you and your bank know. We as the trader don’t even notice that confirmation request because you type in your code into a new window.
That system has an advantage for you and for us. For you, because you get more safety for online shopping and for us, because the bank confirms your identity as the card holder.
Just ask your bank if you can get the MasterCard® SecureCode™ and how you register for it.
Verified by VISA protects you with a password
To use this method simply register at your bank. After that you can shop as always. Differently to the MasterCard® SecureCode™ you are not forwarded to a new and separate window to type in the code but at the end of the payment process you are asked for your personal password and after typing it in your order is completed.
