With 5.3 kW cooling capacity and up to 800 m³/h air volume, the PT 5300 SP provides immediate cooling exactly where you need it. Because the spotcooler is equipped with three separate cold air ducts, you can easily divide the cold air flow into several directions. Each of the three cold air lines can be tilted 150 degrees and swivelled 360 degrees for precise cooling. As a true multi-function spot cooler, you can use the PT 5300 SP not only for spot or room air cooling, but also for ventilation or dehumidification. Here’s how it works
The spotcooler PT 5300 SP offers you an extremely wide range of applications with four different possible uses. This variety of applications enables you to efficiently cool individual work areas or machines and system components, server and network rooms, spot cooling at events, for welding work or in the catering industry. The operating modes can be configures easily and intuitively via the large control panel.
- Room air cooling: here, the integrated thermostat automatically regulates the cooling air supply on the basis of the determined room temperature and cools the room down until the preselected target temperature is reached.
- Spot cooling mode: this spot cooling air supply is implemented via the three adjustable cold air lines. The ambient temperature is not taken into account; instead, the desired discharge temperature is entered via a thermostat. This means that the unit can be placed in an adjoining room in order to blow in the cold air at the destination via connected air transport hoses.
- Fan function: just right when air cooling is not required but fan-based air freshening is desired. To save energy, the compressor is deactivated while the fan functions remain available.
- Dehumidification function: the spotcooler also provides a cooling effect during targeted dehumidification of the room air, but the fan power is reduced to a minimum.
You can also use the timer function on the control panel of the PT 5300 SP to set the spot cooler to switch on and off automatically. In addition, the control panel has a warning light to indicate a full condensate tank and a self-diagnosis function with fault indication.
If required, an optional air transport hose can be connected to the warm air outlet for discharging the warm air outdoors. Instead of regular manual emptying of the condensate container, it is alternatively possible to connect an optional condensate hose for automatic condensate drainage. The robust steel construction of the PT 5300 SP is tough and offers great manoeuvrability and mobility thanks to its compact, narrow design and sturdy castor wheels.
