How it works
The pneumatic hammer mechanism of the PRDS 05-230V hammer and chisel drill with high-compression piston ensures high-precision and safe working, even in continuous operation, thanks to its high impact force of 2.1 joules and impact frequency of 6,400 rpm. The hammer and chisel drill’s rotary function selector switch with safety lock allows you to safely switch between the three device functions:
- Drilling in stone, wood, metal, ceramic and plastic
- Hammer drilling in bricks, concrete and stone
- Chiselling concrete, stone and plaster with a 360° rotary chisel position
The maximum drill diameter for wood is 30 mm, for metal is 13 mm and for concrete 24 mm. The additional keyless chuck with SDS holder and a maximum holding capacity of 13 mm makes the use of existing bits, metal, wood and concrete drills and other accessories with round or hexagonal shaft convenient.
For a firm hold in any position, the pre-assembled rubberised additional handle can be rotated by 360° to position it. This means that the tool is always secure in your hand in a wide variety of working environments. With the stainless steel depth stop (length: 200 mm), the penetration depth of the drill can be infinitely adjusted. The depth stop slides easily into the lateral holder and can be fixed, without tools, using a fixing screw.
