Aerosols: how dangerous is it to go out for a meal? 3D study from Heinsberg shows the imminent danger with and without TAC V+ air purification

It has been suspected for some time, but has now been confirmed by numerous virologists: the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is not only transmitted through droplet infection, but actually in large part via inhaled aerosols. These particles, which are ejected when breathing and speaking, are tiny and, due to their light weight, float invisibly in the room air for up to several hours.

This insight is particularly explosive for the gastronomy

Even a table distance of 1.5 to 2.0 meters does not offer sufficient protection against the inhalation of infectious aerosol particles. The aerosol gas clouds rise metres into the air, disperse within the room and only sink to the ground after a long time. Even behind supposedly safe Plexiglas walls and even when the infected guest has long since left the restaurant. A 3D study from Heinsberg shows the dangers and how caterers can protect themselves against them.

Two-fold protection against these aerosol particles is provided by an air purifier developed in Heinsberg during the corona crisis: the TAC V+ with H14 HEPA filter technology

To prevent infectious aerosol particles from being inhaled via the room air, the device continuously flushes the ambient air with very high quantities of clean air. Existing aerosol clouds are diluted immediately upon release. The air purifier simultaneously draws in the ambient air near the floor without creating a draught and removes pathogenic viruses, bacteria and dust using the integrated high-performance filter.

Virus-free air to protect employees and guests!

The TAC V+ air purifier makes it possible!

Thanks to its high air output, the TAC V+ cleans ambient air up to 20 times per hour. This HEPA filter technology is used for example in operating theatres and similar clean room environments. Bacteria and viruses are filtered out of room air with a filter efficiency of 99.995%. The risk of becoming infected via indoor air drops to almost zero.

Thanks to this highly efficient air purification system, employees and guests need not worry about invisible viruses in the air.

Many restaurants are already relying on the high protective effect of the TAC V+:

Maximum protection against infection for a relaxed time in the restaurant:

  • 995% virus-free room and breathing air thanks to H14 HEPA filter technology
  • Aerosol filtration in seconds with up to 20 air changes per hour
  • Immediate dilution of infectious aerosol clouds using filtered air
  • A mobile solution for creating virus-free zones in the food service industry
  • Plug & Play: Ready to use immediately, no complicated installation required
  • Integrated self-cleaning of the HEPA filter with thermal decontamination

The TAC V+ mobile air purifier is available in several colours and equipment variants in the Trotec shop.
