What a spectacular show! The Crown Prince of Dubai himself launched the world’s first Government Games in May. In the Warrior Event, local and international teams of government employees battled through brutal challenges on a merciless obstacle course. Participants require enormous sportsmanship and team spirit, as well as the highest mental and physical resilience. Of course we are already familiar with this at Trotec from our own employee profiles. Which is why we also joined in – with a team of 6 of our high-performance fans!
The government teams battled it out over four long days, including international teams from Britain, USA, Canada, Thailand and the Philippines. Fame and glory were at stake – as well as a winner’s prize of €450,000. The challenging obstacle course can be described as a mixture between “Games Without Borders”, “Tough Mudder” and “Ninja Warrior”. Larger than life, magnificently executed and as mentioned, a SPECTACULAR SHOW!
This is where Trotec comes in: To create a particularly tough obstacle, the event organiser ordered a team of 6 of our TFV 900 high-pressure fans. Their task: To make it as difficult as possible for the teams to climb 7-metre ropes similar to the rigging of a ship, using a whole lot of wind power. Our on-site technicians were able to report back: mission accomplished! This obstacle was one of the most difficult challenges to complete.
