PCSS 10-20V battery-powered portable circular saw: enables long and precise sawing thanks to premium brand battery – finally available again

Passionate do-it-yourselfers, who have so far refused to use circular saws, now have every reason to rethink. Firstly, a tool like this is indispensable when it comes to clean and straight long cuts and mitre cuts. Secondly, using it in this form as a battery-operated circular saw is super-flexible – as the PCSS 10‑20V from Trotec, which is finally available again, and its 20 V Flexpower multi-battery can demonstrate. And thirdly, we offer you this combined brand quality at unbeatable value for money. Grab it!

The PCSS 10‑20V cordless circular saw shows all its strengths when it comes to flexible, cable-free cutting of solid wood, chipboard, plastic, lightweight construction materials or aluminium profiles. This, in turn, is based on the performance capacity of the 20 V NMC Flexpower multi-device battery with its 2 Ah charging capacity – without memory effect and without self-discharge. It can also be combined flexibly with other battery-powered tools from Trotec and always retains its full power as the charge is used – which is why it guarantees you powerful motor performance at a constantly high speed during long work assignments.

How it works

The PCSS 10-20V battery-powered portable circular saw can be quickly and easily configured for a wide variety of requirements. The cutting depth and cutting angle can be infinitely preselected without the need for additional tools. In the base plate, recessed notches for the 0 and 45 degree positions show you the exact cutting line and facilitate exact sawing along the mark by illustrating the saw cut width. The PCSS 10-20V is equipped with a practical spindle lock so that changing a saw blade to one that is suitable can take place quickly and safely.

If required, an integrated laser guide light can be switched on to display the exact cutting line. The laser projects a red line onto the work piece, precisely displaying the cutting direction, which facilitates the freehand guiding of the saw along a straight marking. Through this, deviations from the cutting line can be detected and corrected immediately. For a perfect longitudinal cut, you can use the rip fence provided.

In terms of ergonomics, the compact PCSS 10-20V was designed for professional continuous operation. It therefore has the ideal centre of gravity and a main handle equipped with softgrip inserts –in this way, the portable circular saw can be comfortably and firmly gripped even in the case of long periods of use, while it can also be safely and precisely guided using two hands with the help of the additional front handle. With this battery-operated circular saw, you can cut wood and chipboard, as well as plastic, lightweight construction materials or non-ferrous metals – and always with the right saw blade provided.

Four of the many advantages I particularly like:

  • the Flexpower multi-battery – which can be combined flexibly with other cordless tools as well
  • its strong, 20 V lithium ion battery – with no memory-effect and no self-drain
  • the stable base plate and pendulum protection hood with retraction lever
  • adjustment of cutting depth and inclination angle without tools
