Here’s how it works
The battery chargers of the PBCS series are suitable for charging, maintaining and servicing both maintenance-free and non-maintenance-free 12V batteries, including wet batteries such as lead-acid, Ca/Ca and EFB batteries, as well as gel and AGM batteries. Adapted to technically advanced and powerful batteries of modern vehicles, the chargers of the PBCS series offer a range of technical protection or care mechanisms and thus ensure fast, gentle charging so that the longest possible battery life is achieved at full power.
Operational safety is, of course, a top priority: all battery chargers in the PBCS series are therefore protected against dust and water jets in accordance with protection class IP65. The PBCS device reliably protects your battery from overcharging and overheating, and even accidentally reversing the battery poles when connecting is no problem, because the integrated reverse polarity protection prevents short circuits, spark spraying and damage to the battery or charger. If the battery voltage is too low or too high, the units PBCS 4A, 6A and 10A display a warning message on the LC display.
