The soft warmth of the new IR 2570 S, which is found to be particularly pleasant on the skin, is available immediately after activation. The heating can be selected in three levels (850 W, 1,650 W, 2,500 W) either via the control panel on the side of the unit or via the supplied IR remote control. In restaurants, thanks to their 90° inclination angle, precise alignment of the radiant heaters also provides a pleasant seating temperature with comparatively low heating costs in roofed outdoor areas.
How it works
The high quality quartz heating element of the IR 2570 S generates heat in accordance with the natural principle of sunlight radiation (infra-red heat). This is particularly energy-efficient, as a large part of the energy used is converted into direct heat. The surrounding air remains free of unpleasant combustion odours and no dust is stirred up since the radiant heaters are also not equipped with noisy fans. Optimum for allergy sufferers and persons with sensitive respiratory systems.
In addition, the infra-red radiant heater has an LED display, check lights and a convenient 24 hour timer function via which you can easily program the switching time of the radiant heater in 1 hour steps. The unit switches off fully automatically after the pre-set operating time, thus saving energy. The radiant heater, protected from dust and water-jets from all sides in accordance with protection class IP34, is suitable for wall installation in roofed outdoor areas. Naturally, the wall bracket required for mounting is included in the package. Incidentally, the radiant heater can optionally also be mounted on a telescopic stand that is available as an accessory, and hence be positioned even more flexibly as a free-standing model. In this way you can increase the utilisation radius of the 900 mm wide radiant heater – even temporarily for unroofed outdoor areas.
