Here’s how it works
The inner unit of the PT 23000 S houses a powerful cold compression system with a hermetic refrigerant circuit. There, the room air that is sucked in is cooled down to the selected temperature and then released back into the room as cooling air via two extremely powerful recirculation radial fans. As an additional advantage, the recirculation mode of the PT 23000 S ensures that neither indoor air is consumed nor negative pressure is generated.
The connection between the indoor unit and the heat exchangers placed externally can be established very quickly using the PT connection sets. These have quick-release couplings and allow a total installation distance of up to 30 meters between the indoor and outdoor units.
The only cooling medium that circulates in the connection lines is water with a low glycol content, which is why there is no loss of refrigerant when the devices are properly connected and disconnected.
