The 4th corona wave is snowballing. The peak so far: 10th November – over 51,000 new infections. Of which, according to the Robert Koch Institute, at least 3,000 have to be treated in hospital, 350 of them in intensive care. Due to the daily terrifying figures, hospitals and intensive care units all over the country are reporting the imminent end of their admission capacities. The order of the day is therefore to not get infected – neither with corona nor with flu or other viruses. That was a beautiful, one-day midsummer on 10th May! With peak temperatures all over Germany, sometimes the thermometer shot up to 31 degrees! Great to enjoy outside, but in the apartment and in the house? Now we are in autumn and winter, flu and corona viruses are a particular problem. This is because the pathogens are at home in dry heating air. This is because air with less than 40 % humidity effectively preserves the viruses and keeps them infectious for longer.
