After a five week shutdown, Volkswagen are starting auto production again. In order to ensure the safety of their employees, VW are implementing stricter hygiene standards and strict distancing rules. In areas where distances of 1.5 metres are not possible, workers must wear a mouth and nose protector. The car manufacturer’s suppliers, who make components such as cockpits or cable harnesses, can also breathe a sigh of relief thanks to the restart.
