New KICT Study shows: air purifiers reduce the risk of corona infection by up to 73 percent

Whether at school, when shopping, in a restaurant or in the supermarket: the risk of contracting corona virus is literally in the air. The SARS-CoV-2 virus enters the body with inhaled air via infectious aerosol particles in the room air, whereby the Covid-19 pathogen spreads in the respiratory tract. Researchers at the Technical University of Berlin recently calculated how high the risk of infection is in certain rooms and everyday situations.
