The all-purpose SL400 sound level meter<\/a> is optimally suited for professionally monitoring workplace, industrial and environmental noise thanks to its factory-finished ISO calibration, integrated live logging function and integrated analysis software. It is recommended for use by experts as the device meets the requirements of the accuracy class 2.<\/h2>\n

The SL400<\/a> meets the requirements for sound level metering instruments in accuracy class 2 in accordance with IEC\u00a061672-1 and ANSI\u00a0S1.4.<\/p>\n

The SL400 allows you to take separate measurements of A and C frequencies. Whereas the A frequency is appropriate for sensing sound pressure within human hearing range, the C frequency focuses on the low-frequency range of a sound. Depending on the requirement, the measuring time of this professional measuring device can be shifted using a fast\/slow time valuation with a measuring interval of one per second (slow) to a measurement every 125\u00a0milliseconds (fast).<\/p>\n

The SL400<\/a>\u2019s four digit measurement display with additional bar graph visualisation is very easily readable in every environment thanks to its LCD background illumination. The integrated software enables, among other things, the live recording of measured values with a real-time display, a graphic or tabular visualisation of the measurement values with the option to print as an X-Y diagram or in table form as well as a zoom function and export option in Excel format.<\/p>\n

The SL400 is additionally equipped with a live logging function and has a data memory for the recording of up to 32,700 measurement values. The calculated data can be easily transferred onto a PC via USB for software supported analysis.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the SL400 can be mounted with an integrated mini-tripod for logging or taking permanent measurements. For time-consuming, long-term measurements, the integrated network connection enables power to be easily switched from battery to mains power via an integrated mains adaptor. Additionally, a 3.5\u00a0mm jack socket integrated onto the SL400 offers the possibility of connecting frequency analysers or X-Y recorders.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the SL400 convinces due to its handy format, with low weight and optimised button arrangement for one-handed operation \u2013 the ideal basic hardware for sound level measurements in the industrial, work and environmental protection sectors. An ISO calibration certificate is included in the SL400<\/a>\u2019s scope of delivery.<\/p>\n
