Almost as soon as we brought it to market, the new humidity indicator was sold out. That’s how convincing its advantages are for determining the moisture content of building materials and timber. This and with the device’s new design provided good reasons for it to be sold out so fast \u2013 but as of right now, the BM 31<\/a> is available once again!<\/h2>\n

With the BM31’s , ergonomic design, it is now even easier to quickly locate near-surface moisture. This is the case for construction and for the drying of walls before they are plastered. It’s also the case for detecting moist locations when renovating old buildings. The BM31<\/a>‘s main advantage is its non-destructive dielectric measurement method, which the device uses to measure the moisture in the material being checked with a penetration depth of 5 to 40 millimetres.<\/p>\n

This is how it works<\/h3>\n

Simply placing the device on the material is enough: no probes or electrodes have to be put into the material being assessed. The values in the measurement range are displayed digitally, from 0 to 100, on the easy-to-read back-lit display. In addition to the current real-time measurement value, the user can view other information at the push of a button, such as minimum and maximum values. And if you need to reach for your pen and paper to note your results while measuring, you can freeze the current measurement value with the hold function.<\/p>\n
