The IR\u00a02005\u00a0SC umbrella radiant heater<\/strong><\/a>, made of weatherproof aluminium and protected against splash water in accordance with protection class IP34, can be mounted on the umbrella pole (suitable for any diameter between 2.5 and 6\u00a0cm) in just a few steps. You can immediately feel the radiant heater’s pleasant warmth as soon as you switch it on. To adjust the heat intensity to your personal comfort, the umbrella radiant heater has three heat levels with 700, 1,300 and 2,000\u00a0Watts, which you can regulate via two toggle switches on the heater. Its visually appealing propeller design \u2013 heating arms that can be adjusted vertically up to 90\u00b0 \u2013 allows it to be folded in and out at any angle and guarantees an intense 360\u00b0 all-round heat in all directions. The warming infrared radiation is generated by a glare-free halogen heating element without disturbing the surrounding atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Protective grids above the heating vanes prevent direct contact between the umbrella cover and the heating elements. In contrast to devices with heating wires, the infrared rays of the umbrella radiant heater do not heat the ambient air, but only the surfaces and people they hit. The objects subject to this heat radiation (for example furniture, walls and ceilings) absorb the heat and store it, then gradually release it again.
