Hobby gardeners have built up a supply of water in the form of cisterns or at least in a rain barrel. But what happens when water needs to be recirculated or pumped out? What if the pool or garden pond has to be drained quickly? Or what if half of the garden has been filled with contaminated water? This is what makes the big difference when it comes to pumps: While clear water pumps are suitable for use in pools, tanks, cisterns and wells, waste water immersion pumps extract heavily contaminated water with particle sizes up to 25 mm.<\/p>\n

    Clear water immersion pumps<\/a> <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Clear water\u00a0 immersion pumps are used to effectively pump out and recirculate clear liquids or liquids that are only slightly contaminated with dirt particles, for example to convey domestic sewage, rain or seepage water; to drain pools; and when there is a washing machine leakage in the house. The respective \u2018maximum particle size\u2018 indicates how large the dirt particles may be without causing damage to the pump.<\/p>\n

    A particular advantage offered by clear water immersion pumps is the possibility of \u2018shallow suction\u2019. With this technical feature, water can be pumped out to such an extent that a particularly low water level of only a few millimetres remains \u2013 resulting in what is called \u2018wipe-dry drainage\u2019. The minimum suction level \u2013 that is to say, the lowest possible level to which water can generally be pumped out \u2013 is specified in the pumps\u2019 technical data.<\/p>\n
