The results are clear: When air humidification was not activated or was completely absent, over 40% of office users felt disturbed by excessively dry air. With active air humidification, on the other hand, the air humidity never perceived as too low. In addition, the increase in air humidity resulted in a positive perception and higher satisfaction with the working environment. This is in line with the findings of other US scientists who have found that an optimum humidity level of over 40% is fatal within minutes for flu and cold viruses that people have coughed up.<\/p>\n
