A mobile solution par excellence: Gas direct heaters from the TGH-E series<\/a> can be conveniently transported even in the smallest passenger car boot due to their extremely compact construction. And only a power socket and propane gas cylinder are required for the heating operation, as the connection hose and pressure reducer are already included in the scope of delivery. We explain how these heaters work, where they can be used best, and for which purposes gas fan heaters are not suited for.<\/p>\n

Gas fan heaters<\/strong> \u2013 how they work<\/strong><\/p>\n

The gas direct heaters from the TGH-E series<\/a> suck in their ambient air using a fan, then warm up the main air flow directly using a gas burner and blow the hot air back into the room. As a result, the exhaust gases as well as the water vapour also generated during the combustion process are blown out into the room together with the heated up air. However, in contrast to oil heater fans, no diesel or heating oil odour is created when heating with gas.<\/p>\n

Safety is of the utmost importance in all devices of the TGH-E series<\/a>: An integrated temperature sensor serves for flame failure protection and prevents unburned gas from escaping. In case of overheating, the gas supply is automatically interrupted by a safety thermostat while the fan continues to run for cooling. And the specially shaped outlet grille of the Trotec gas heaters protects from direct flame contact, while simultaneously ensuring an optimally whirled, high-volume stream of warm air.<\/p>\n

How gas fan heaters are ideally used<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Once in operation, pleasant heat is spread immediately, as the integrated fan ensures an effective flow of air from the ambient air drawn in and warm air blown-out. Even large spaces of up to approx. 300\u00a0m\u00b3 can thus be swiftly heated up using the gas fan heaters from Trotec<\/a>. Since the combustion exhaust gases are released into the space as well, it is imperative that the area to be heated is very well ventilated so that the exhaust gases are blown away by a natural draught and oxygen can permanently enter the space \u2013 particularly when there are people and animals inside.<\/p>\n

What gas fan heaters are not suited for<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Because they develop lots of moisture when operating, gas heaters cannot be used to support construction drying. During combustion, approx. 1.6 kg of water vapour is produced per litre of fuel.<\/p>\n
