Direct oil heater<\/a> \u2013 how it works<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a directly heated oil heater, the fan also supplies the combustion air and then blows out the heated air. To do this, fuel is first atomised, ignited and burnt in the combustion chamber. At the same time, cold air is sucked inside the oil heater by the fan. The air is routed both through the combustion chamber and outside as well and heats up considerably as a result. The hot combustion exhaust gases are then mixed again with the fan\u2019s main air flow. Besides the hot air, the combustion exhaust gases are blown out of the oil heater as well in this procedure.<\/p>\n

How direct oil heaters<\/a> are ideally used<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Since the entire heat output is released one-to-one into the room, the efficiency of direct oil heaters is 100%. Ideally, these are therefore used to heat well-ventilated halls, stables or covered outdoor areas quickly and effectively.<\/p>\n

What direct oil heaters are not suited for<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Because oil heaters not only give off heat but combustion exhaust gases as well they are unsuitable for closed rooms without good ventilation \u2013 particularly when people or animals are in the room. Because an additional 1.6 kg of water vapour per litre of fuel is also released during the combustion process, direct heaters should never be used for construction drying \u2013 the building would then be permanently ‘forced humidified’.<\/p>\n
