Our particle counter opens up flexible options for use thanks to its compliance with ISO-21501-4 and a wide range of additional measuring functions. Thus, in addition to the quantity and size fractions of the air particles, the measuring device also detects environmental ambient parameters such as air humidity, air temperature, dew point temperature and wet bulb temperature, e.g. for checking the production conditions in cleanrooms. From the cleanroom test to filter efficiency tests and monitoring workplace stresses and quality assurance measures through to monitoring the technical cleanliness in process technology: These are only a few areas of application for which our new PC220 mobile environmental measurement unit was designed.
This is how it works
With the ergonomic particle counter, you and your employees can precisely measure contamination in the air caused by small and minute particles. The mobile measuring unit detects, for example, the particle purity of the air with 6 particle sizes from 0.3 to 10 μm at the same time and all measurements of the 6 particle size channels are displayed at the same time in an easily legible format on the 2.8-inch-sized colour LCD of the PC220. Here the additional colour indicator display with acoustic automatic alarm system makes it easier for you to quickly detect critical particle concentrations. Thanks to additional gas detectors, contamination from formaldehyde (HCHO) and carbon monoxide (CO) can be detected in the air. They also allow a quantitative concentration measurement of and inhalable dust (PM10) and respirable dust (PM2.5).
An integrated digital camera ensures photo and video documentation of the measuring environment. In addition, the particle counter’s data logger function allows you to record 5000 measurement data sets on the internal memory which can be expanded up to 16GB using a MicroSD card. Continuous measurements are also possible without problems thanks to the practical mini tripod included in the scope of delivery. After the measurement process, you can quickly and easily transfer all of the recorded data via a USB port for documentation or evaluation on a PC.
